I The object or purport of the said Resolution is as follows: I That the Council resolves to make a By-law to come into force on the I 16th day of September, 1930, which adds to supplements and alters existing by-laws with reference to Water Charges, Traffic Control, including one-way traffic and drivers’ licenses for motor vehicles. A copy of the said By-law has been deposited at the Office of the Council in King George’s Place, Timaru, aforesaid, and is open for inspection by the public without payment during office hours, which are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on week days, except Saturdays, when such hours are from 9 a.m. to noon. IN ACCORDANCE with the Articles 1 of Association two of the Shareholders’ Directors retire from Office at the Ordinary Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Association to be held on FRIDAY, the 10th day of October, 1930. These retiring Shareholders’ Directors are Messrs K. Mackenzie and C. J. Talbot. Mr Talbot offers himself for re-election. There are therefore two vacancies for Shareholders’ Directors to be filled on the Directorate, and I hereby call for nominations for such vacancies. The date on which such nominations will close is the 10th day of September, 1930. No person shall be eligible for election unless he hold at least ten shares; and no person (other than a retiring Shareholders’ Director) shall be eligible for election unless such other person shall have left at the registered office of the Association on or before the 14th day of September, 1930, a notice in writing of his willingness to act as a Shareholders’ Director.
