SUDDEN DEATH AT CONCERT. By Telegraph—Press Association. MASTERTON, August 20. A concert at Kuripuni. Masterton. tonight. was marred by the sudden death of Mrs Cadzow. who was just about to play the accompaniment for a song by her husband, when she expired. Mrs Cadzow had just previously played a piano duet with her daughter, Mrs W. G. Perry, and responded to an encore. Deceased was about 65 years of age. FOUND DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, August 30. Walter Blunden Taylor. 21. who lived in a tent, and was engaged with his I father splitting posts, was drowned at Karapoti last night. Wilfred Wrigley Payne, senior clerk of the Telegraph engineer’s office at Masterton. was killed early this evening as a result of a motoring accident near Tinui. Only meagre details are available, but it is reported that a car skidded in mud on the roadside and capsized, deceased being pinned underneath. Death was apparently instantaneous. Arthur Thomas McGuinness (38), married, fruiterer, was struck by a motor cycle in a City street last night and thrown heavily on the roadway. He was given medical attention, and walked home where he was put to bed. Shortly after 11 o'clock he got out and fell downstairs. He was taken to hospital where he died this morning.
