RANDWICK TRACK NOTES. NIGHTMARCH IN FORM. United Press Association—By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 19, 8.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 19. Nightmarch appeared at the Randwick tracks to-day and dashed over half a mile on the course proper in 49 i seconds, the fastest time for that distance. First Sight and Limerick covered six furlongs in 1.17 J. Other Dominion horses which showed pleasing form were Gay Crest, Arikiwai, Mithra and Vali. Trainer F. D. Jones has so far been disappointed with Dunraven, who wlil be given another chance to make good. Otherwise, he will be shipped back to New Zealand. Seven more racehorses arrived by the Maunganui after a good trip. BRISBANE AMATEUR TURF CLUB. MOTION TO DISBAND DEFEATED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 19, 10.40 p.m.) BRISBANE, August 19. The motion foi* the dissolution of the Brisbane Amateur Turf Club was defeated by an overwhelming majority. (A message published on Saturday stated that Mr T. Jack, a member of the Brisbane Amateur Turf Club, caused a sensation by giving notice of his intention to move at the annual meeting that the Club be dissolved owing to being unable to meet its financial obligations. The Club made an average profit of £30,000 seven years prior to last year, when it dropped £130,000.)
