FISHERMEN’S AWARD.

COURT RESERVES DECISION. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, August 11. The dispute between the Seamen’s Union and New' Zealand Fisheries, Ltd., was resumed in the Arbitration Court to-day. The case was partly heard at the last sittings, and referred back to the parties to see if an agreement could be reached. For the Seamen’s Union, Mr Waish said that all clauses had been agreed to except wage* and the discharge of ashes. For the company, Mr Bishop- said that-the lowest paid man on trawlers earned £283 a year, and the highest £317. He contended that this was adequate. Decision was reserved.
