Sir David Chadwick, secretary of the Imperial Economic Conference, presiding over the Imperial Horticultural Conference, said New Zealand’s work in connection with fresh fruit production and marketing problems might be recommended to the fruitgrowers of the whole Empire. Mr P. L. Brown, chairman of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board, outlined the Board’s work. He said the fruit exports from New Zealand increased six-fold since the Board’s establishment.
