FRICTION IN JAPANESE WATERS. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright TOKIO, August 5. Friction in the Kamschatka fisheries continues, and the situation is more serious. Japanese steamers report that they were attacked on July 31 by a Russian steamer, four shells penetrating one of the hulls. Being recently armed they replied with gunfire, repulsing their assailants.
