McKITTERICK, London Diploma Tailor, 313 Stafford Street, Timaru Here is the result of a test carried out during the worst six months of the year, from the point of view of egg-production —but the best period as regards profit. It proves, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the wisdom of feeding Karswood Poultry Spice to your fowls: 784 Extra Eggs. "It gives me great pleasure to write to you again as I promised. First, let me say that I have 2 pens of White Leghorns, 12 in each pen. Over a year ago I purchased some Karswood Poultry Spice, with the result that people around me were amazed at the number of eggs I was receiving. 1 did not have to go far, or say very much to convince them how it came about I was receiving all the eggs, namely from eleven White Leghorns and two R.l.R's. I was getting 8, 9 and 10 daily (I still hold my egg chart showing this). I have tried another so-called "Poultry Spice," which proved to be a failure. On seeing Karswood advertised I gave it the same trial and my reward was as quoted above (754 extra eggs). 3 TIMES as an say EGGS I may say I have talked to various people about poultry, and many poultry-keepers often complain of their hens dropping off laying. It is, in my opinion, simply because they need something to keep them right, and, as I have proved it, there is nothing for this purpose to equal Karswood, as the following proves: I took 2 pens of 12 Leghorns in each pen—same breed, same age—and fed one on Karswood Poultry Spice, and the other pen without Karswood Poultry Spice and on ordinary food for a period of six months. The latter pen laid a total of 302 eggs. The pen which was getting Karswood laid a grand total of 1,086 eggs, due to Karswood. Take notice of the big difference by using Karswood—three times more eggs." Original letter on file for inspection G.T.C.
