Church Street, Timaru. on WEDNESDAY, the 3rd day of SEPTEMBER, 1930. at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, when the following resolution. which was passed at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the 30th day of July, will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order:— ) " THAT in pursuance and exercise of r the powers vested in it by Sec--3 tion 17 (c) of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926. and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Special Rating Area in the County known as the Fairview Water Supply District, the ratepayers whereof do not exceed 100 in number, such consent in the form prescribed by regulations of at least, three-fourths of those ratepayers, the Capital Value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said District is collectively greater J than the Capital Value of the properties of those Ratepayers J [ who do not so consent to the j raising of the Loan hereinafter 1 ] mentioned, being testified by their Signature in writing in [ such manner as prescribed by Regulations, the Levels County Council, hereby resolves, by wav of Special Order as follows: For the purpose of constructing a Water-race for the Fairview-Water-Supply District the Levels County Council hereby authorises the raising of a Loan of £2,000 at 5i per cent, per annum for a period of 25 years.
