Kent, first innings, nine for 207 (Hardinge 76, White seven for 81). Kent won on the first innings. Sussex, first innings, 325 (Bowley 82, Cook 137); second, eight for 220. Nottingham, first innings, 383 (George Gunn 96, Payton not out 119). Nottingham won on the first innings. Lancashire, first innings, eight for 261 declared; second, one for 68 declared. Essex, first innings, 139 (Hopwood five for 18); second, none for 68. Lancashire won on the first innings. In the game, Yorkshire versus Northants, there was no play, the match being drawn. Middlesex, first innings, 338 (Haig 73, Hulme not out 117; Paine five for 98). Warwick, first innings, made 179, and followed on for two for 37. Middlesex won on the first innings. Worcester, first innings, nine for 483 declared (Nichol not out 262); second, one for 114. Hampshire, first innings, 312. Worcester won on the first innings. Glamorgan, first innings, 137. Leicester, first innings, six for 137. The match was drawn.
