HOTELS ROBBED.

BOARDERS’ MONEY TAKEN. By Telegraph—Press Association ELTHAM. July 22. Two cases of burglary were reported to-day at the Central and Coronation hotels, where bedrooms were entered. Mr Casey, licensee of the Central, lost £4 from his trousers pocket in his own room, and Mr Murray, Government Inspector of Machinery, staying at the Coronation, £5 10s in notes, also taken from his clothes. The porter at the Coronation saw a man in the passage, but who disappeared quickly. The police were immediately on the scene, and investigations are proceeding.
