HIT AND THEN RUN OVER.
PEDESTRIAN FATALLY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, July 20. Henry Mason (66), living in New Lynn, was walking on the great North Road near New Lynn on Saturday evening, when he was struck by a sidecar of a motor-cyclist. The rider of the machine went for assistance, leaving Mason on the road with another man. While Mason was lying on the road a light truck ran over his legs and did not stop. Mason died in Aucklnad Hospital this morning, with a fracture of the skull and compound fracture of both legs.
