THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate, variable easterly ruling; weather mainly fair and cold. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone still covers the New Zealand area, but pressure has commenced to fall to the westward. Expect winds variable and light to moderate, but later tending easterly and Northerly. Seas generally smooth to moderate. Weather fair to fine generally at first, with mild temperatures, but with considerable cloud and mist; later some scattered light rain developing, more especially in the northern portion of the North Island.
