BREAKING GAOL.

PARTIAL SUCCESS OF WELLPLANNED SCHEME. (United Press Association—By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received July 2, 12.45 a.m.) LONDON, June 30. A daring and well-planned escape took place from Wandsworth gaol. While the prisoners were exercising, two dashed toward the wall, over which a rope ladder was suddenly thrown from outside the gaol. One prisoner escaped, but the other was caught and pulled from the ladder. A waiting car outside sped away with the escaped prisoner. Both prisoners were members of the motor bandit gang, and were undergoing lengthy sentences. It is obvious that there is a system of communicating with friends outside. An inquiry has been ordered.
