(Unite* Press Association —By telegraph—Copyright.> LONDON, May 28. The death is announced of the White Star’s Commodore, Captain William Marshall, aged 57 years. (V. C. NATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. LEVIN. May 29. The death occurred this morning of Mr William Charles Nation, agpd 91, a well known journalist, and for many years president of the New Zealand Spiritualistic Association. Deceased came to New Zealand in j 1857. when his father founded the j "Nelson Colonist,” and was subsequent- \ ly in journalism in Wairarapa and , Manawatu. Mr Nation was the originator of the Arbor Day celebration in the Dominion. He was deeply interested in psychic phenomena, and almost up to his death edited, set up and printed a monthly journal in the interests of spiritualism
