The recent depression is now located east of New Zealand. An intense anticyclone is practically stationary over Australia. Expect winds, variable, with moderate west to south prevailing. Seas smooth to moderate. Weather mainly fine, but at times changeable, with isolated showers, mainly in the southern and western districts. Cold night temperatures, with some night frosts.
