FIGHTING CANCER.
EXPERIMENTS AT VERNON HOSPITAL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) • (Received April 28, 9.50 p.m.) LONDON, April 28. Mount Vernon Hospital, Middlesex, Ib concentrating on radium treatment for cancer, using radon, which is the bottled rays of radium confined in tiny gold platinum shells, not larger than a grain of rice. These radon seed's can be buried deep within the growth and attack the cancer cells beyond the reach of radium emanations from the surface of the body. It is claimed that patients, able to swallow only fluids, and unable to speak, leave the hospital with appetites and speech fully restored.
