The Federal Government will shortly approach the Australian market for a loan of £10,000,000, which will be utilised to meet commitments falling due. LOSS IN REVENUE. BIG DROP IN YIELD FROM CUSTOMS. The customs revenue drop for the first fortnight since the Government’s tariff restrictions has been £600,000. •' The Easter vacation and the heavy withdrawals, from bond have been special factors in the decline.
