EMPIRE GAMES. By Telegraph—Pre*s Asaociatior. WELLINGTON. April 16. Stanley Lay, the Wanganui-Taran-aki javelin thrower, has been selected by the N.Z.A.A.A. to compete at the Empire Games in Canada. The form of A. J. Elliott (Auckland) is to be reviewed in a .month, and the nomination will depend on the standard of the performance. TEMUKA SPORTS.
