TAX ON BEER.
UNPOPULAR IN GERMANY. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, April 9. The Government’s attempted interference with the national beverage, beer, created a mild crisis in the Reichstag. The Committee threw out the Bill taxing beer, and the Cabinet has been specially summoned to consider the position.
