SCHOOL GAMES. A match was played at Anzac Square i on Saturday between elevens from the I Timaru Technical College and the Temuka District High School. It resulted in a win for the Technical College by 67 runs and three wickets. Temuka, batting first, compiled 32, mainly through the efforts of W. Smart who scored 13 in forceful style until well taken in the outfield by Cameron. The Technical bowling was too varied and well directed for the visiting batsmen, and Averis, Cooke, Cameron, Andrews and Cox all secured fine averages. Although Technical College started badly, a fine partnership by Averis and Cooke produced fifty runs, both retiring unbeaten. Cameron and Laurie also attacked the bowling freely, the latter scoring with freedom all round the wickets. When time was called, Technical College had seven wickets down for 99, thus securing a win by 67 runs and three wickets. Smart, for | Temuka; bowled well, taking three | wickets for 53 runs, while Caesar and Hoplcinson did very good work in the field. Results* TEMUKA.
