APPEAL ENDORSED.
ARCHBISHOP REDWOOD S MESSAGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON. March 25. The following statement from His Grace Archbishop Redwood, has been handed to the Press, is from the head of the Hierarchy of the Catholic Church in New Zealand:— “I most gladly give the forcible utterance of my personal approval, and sincere hopes for the full success of the obstetrical endowment appeal, which is at present before the people of the Dominion. No endeavour can be too great to, uphold and promote the sacred duty of motherhood.”
