MARRIOTT’S Premises for the next few days will be subjected to slight disarrangement. Several structural alterations will be in progress and ws would respectfully ask clients and the public generally to make allowance for any inconvenience while this work is going on. It has been found an inopportune time for the disposal, as a going concern, of a business the size of ours, and we are obliged to still carry on as Drapery and Clothing Retailers. However, we recognise that modern methods and modern stores make for greater success in business and this knowledge has led us to let a contract for the remodelling of a portion of our Store. The builders will be busy on our premises to-day. For the splendid support given by clients and the public generally for the past twenty years, Marriott’s tender their very best thanks, and trust that under more modern methods and conditions to receive a still greater measure of their favour.
