COST OF LEAGUE OF NATIONS.

HINTS OF BIGGER PAYMENTS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received March 16, 5.5 p.m.) THE HAGUE, March 15. Sir Eric Drummond (Secretary to the League) was entertained by the Dutch Peace Society. He said he was of opinion that financial sacrifices were necessary in the future on the part of members of the League of Nations, to enable the work of Geneva to be carried on. The sacrifices would be considerable, but he hoped they would be borne willingly, in view of the importance and magnitude of the work in hand.
