THE “ MOTOR OWNER”
OTAGO SUPPORT WITHDRAWN. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 16/ The Executive of the South Island Motor Union, at a meeting yesterday, passed the following resolution:— “That in view of a resolution passed at the half-yearly meeting in December, 1929, the executive expresses its regret and surprise at the notice by the Otago Club of its intention to withdraw its support from the ‘New Zealand Motor Owner.’ It is the opinion of the executive that the Otago Club would have better served the interests of the Union had it, after expiry of the period of three months, agreed upon at the passing of the resolution at the half-yearly meeting, requested an interchange of views before giving legal notice of withdrawal.”
