NOTES. The Progress arrived from Oamaru yesterday, and loaded cargo for Wellington, Wanganui and Port Waikato. She sailed for Wellington direct. The Breeze made an unexpected call here yesterday,' and lifted a small amount of general cargo before proceeding to Dunedin last evening, bne is expected to be back at Timaru about March 11, to load for Wellington. Wanganui and Picton. The Tees from the Chatham Islands, is expected to-day. After unloading sheep, she is to sail for Wellington. The Calm is listed to arrive to-day to load consignments for Wellington direct, and Wanganui. The Gale, from Oamaru, is scheduled to arrive on March 12, to load cargo for Wellington and Wanganui. To discharge cargo loaded at Auckland at Timaru, the Kaitoke is due here about March 12. The Waipiata is expected at Timaru on Tuesday next, to load cargo for Wellington and Auckland. From Dunedin and Oamaru, the Opihi is due at this port on March 13, to lift cargo for discharge at Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Karetu, from Sydney, is due here* about March 15, to load and discharge general cargo. The Waipahi is expected to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne at Timaru on March 18. Overseas. The Northumberland is due ot Timaru from Port Chalmers about March 13. She is to load frozen meat and general cargo for London and Continental ports. The Valacia from New York via New Zealand ports, is expected here on March 15. She is to load and discharge general cargo, and will then proceed to Dunedin. The Remuera. from Bluff, is scheduled to arrive at Timaru about March 21. She is to load frozen meat and general cargo for Home and Continental ports, sailing finally from New Zealand about April 1. The Canadian Explorer and the Canadian 'transporter, both from Halifax, are expected at Timaru, via ports, on March 21 and April 20, respectively. To load frozen meat and general cargo for London, the Corinthic is listed to arrive at this port on March 27. The City of Lincoln from New York is scheduled to arrive at Timaru via New Zealand ports about March 30. The Cambridge is expected to sail from Liverpool about March 29, for Auckland.
