ROYAL HONOURS.

KING HOLDS INVESTITURE. (British Official -Wireless.) RUGBY, March 6. The King held a second investiture at Buckingham Palace to-day. The investiture, in contrast to the official one of Tuesday, was private, and morning dress was worn. Ninety recipients of honours and decorations were drawn from all ranks of life, and included a miner and a seaman. The King presented nine medals Xor gallantry in saving life at sea. Some of these were in connection with rescues from ships in distress during the tempestuous gales of last year. Those honoured at the investiture included Lieut-Colonel Eccles Snowden, Agent-General for Tasmania, who received a knighthood.
