REPLY TO CONFERENCE PROPOSALS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) APIA, March 7. The conference between, the. Administrator, the Hon, J. G. Cobbe, and the Mau closed yesterday. With regard to the Administrator’s points: (1) The Samoans were not favourable to the breaking up oi the organisation. (2) No opposition would be made to . the wanted men being arrested. , (3) It is understood the Samoans j will return to the villages. The Administrator said he would meet representatives of the people at , any time, at Mulinuu, Apia or Vailima, to discuss matters of benefit to the country.
