IN QUEST OF “THE ASHES.” MOVEMENTS OF AUSTRALIAN TEAM. (United Pres* Association—By Siectri* Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received March 6, 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 6. The Australian cricketers embark for Tasmania at Melbourne to-morrow. They will play two matches in Tasmania next week, at Launceston and Hobart respectively, and return at the end of the week to Melbourne. They travel overland to Freemantle and join the Orford for England on March 17. The players have been feted during the past week by their friends. All the younger players are overwhelmed with excitement of the big tour.
