SCHOOL DENTAL CLINIC. A letter received by the Geraldine District High School Committee from the Education Board states that the latter body will raise no objection to the old science room being converted into a dental clinic. Before definitely sanctioning the calling of tenders, the Board wished to make quite certain that the plans prepared by the committee meet with the approval of the Director of Dental Hygiene. Recent correspondence from this officer had plainly indicated that he would recommend the Education Department to withold subsidies in cases where he had not been given an opportunity of perusing plans prior to buildings being erected. The Board was telegraphing the Director seeking his approval to the scheme, and should his reply be in the affirmative, the committee would be permitted to invite tenders for the work.
