METHODIST HARRIERS. The committee of the Methodist Harrier Club held a meeting last evening, when final arrangements were made for Saturday's run from Woodlands Street Hall. It was decided to have a trail laid over a five-mile course. Four new members were elected, making a total of 26. The chairman complimented members on the rapid growth of the club, and urged them to keep the club going at its present rate and bring about a large membership for the season. Runs were promised by the following:—Waimataitai Girls’ Club, Messrs Metson, Darling and Hujrdley. The run for 15th March was fixed from the residence of Mr F. Metson. An offer of a miniature cup from Mr E. Firkin was gratefully accepted, and it was decided to write a letter of thanks to the donor. It was decided to ask the president Rev. H. T. Peat to speak at the conclusion of the opening run.
