Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to strong northerly to westerly; weather fair and warm. Outlook for week ending March 3rd: —Wind, mainly westerly; weather mainly fair, with an odd shower likely. Dominion Meteorologist. A depression of the westerly type has crossed the Dominion, and an intense anti-cyclone is moving from the westward on to the Tasman Sea. Expect winds moderate to strong westerly, backing soon to south-westerly and reaching gale .force in places. Seas becoming rough on the West Coast and south of Castlepoint; elsewhere moderate. Weather changeable, and south of Cape Egmont and Castlepoint squally; rain in most districts, more especially in the South Island, with thunder at places. Temperatures becoming colder.
