THE LABOUR PARTY.
CAUCUS IN WELLINGTON. By Telegraph —xmaau Association. WELLINGTON, February 19. A caucus of the Parliamentary Labour Party commenced this morning. It is probable that the proceedings -will continue until to-morrow. Eighteen of the twenty Labour members were present, and the leader of the Party, Mr H.' E. Holland, presided. Mr J. Thom, president of the Labour Party, was present. A welcome was extended to Mr Walter Nash, who was elected to represent the Hutt electorate at the by-election in December. A resolution was carried expressing deep regret at the death of Mr P. A. Hickey, who was prominent in Labour movements in New Zealand for many years, and it was decided to send a message of condolence to Mrs Hickey.
