Miss Peggy Mandeno, Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs W. D. Campbell, Wai-iti Road.
Miss Mirams, Dunedin. is staying with her brother, Mr E. J. Mirams, Beverley Road.
Miss Janet Paterson, Sefton Street, will leave to-day lor Wellington, Rotorua and Auckland.
Miss A. Greenall, who has been spending the holidays in Timaru, left on Saturday for Rakaia. Sir Henry and Lady Wigram, Christchurch, intend leaving by the Rangitiki in April for a trip to England. Mrs T. Wigley, Dunstan Downs, Kurow, will arrive to-morrow to stay with Mrs A. C. Wigley, Park Lane.
Mr and Mrs Harvey Burgin, North Canterbury, motored home yesterday, after a short stay at the Grand Hotel. The Misses Olive and Gladys Greenall, who have been spending a holiday at Wakanui, have returned to Timaru.
Mrs Sinclair-Thomson, “The Crossing,” Geraldine, is the guest of Mrs Hamilton Sinclair-Thomson, Park Lane.
Mrs H. Heads. North Street, returned to Timaru yesterday, after spending a holiday at Lumsden and Invercargill. Mrs E. J. Mirams, Beverley Road, and Miss Devenish-Meares, Sarah Street, left yesterday to spend a week at Geraldine.
Mrs Stopford, Napier, will arrive shortly to stay with Miss Tripp, Orari Gorge, before leaving in March on a visit to England. Mrs G. E. Gabites, and Miss Mary Gabites, Wai-iti Road, who have been staying at their cottage, at Temuka, returned home yesterday.
Colonel and Mrs Vaughan and Mr and Mrs Hall, Sydney, who returned from Mount Cook yesterday, were passengers by the north express. Mrs A. Martin, Martinborough, will arrive on Thursday to stay with Mrs R. H. Rhodes, “Carne,” Sealy Street, for the Mullins-Johnston wedding.
Miss Arnott, Christchurch, Miss Will, Rangiora, Miss Cope«jand, Invercargill, Mrs Jones and Mr G. Hamilton, are staying at Carshalton, North Street.
Mrs J. R. Loughnan and Miss Meg. Loughnan, “Burrabogie,” Fairlie, will leave to-day to stay with Mr George Harper, Christchurch, for the FishNorris wedding. Mrs Denny, wife of Dr. Denny, of Colombo, Ceylon, who has been visiting Auckland, has left for Rotorua to join her father, Mr Beaufoy-Green, a noted fisherman, who is paying his fiftieth annual visit to New Zealand.
Miss Faynes-Clinton, Invercargill, who is on a visit to her sister, Mrs F. Newton, Maltby Avenue, Mr and Mrs P. Lawrie, Wai-iti Road, and Mrs R. T. Turnbull, .Beverley Road, have returned from a short visit to Christchurch.
Mrs C. Belcher and her little daughter, Daphne, left Kakahu for their future home at Ohoka on 29th. January. Mrs Belcher is a daughter of Mr A. Dean, of Kakahu, and has spent the greater part of her life in the Geraldine district.
