DUTIES SUSPENDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON. January 31. A supplementary Gazette issued this afternoon announces that the GovernorGeneral, by Order-in-Council, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, has suspended the exist ng tariff (being the first schedule lof the Customs Amendment Act, 1927), !in so far as it relates to bran and pollard, and in lieu thereof exempts bran and pollard from the duty under the British preferential tariff, and general tariff. I Nothing in the above Order-in-Coun--1 oil affects the provision* of the Customs I Act, with respect to primage duty. The Order-in-Council comes into operation forthwith.
