PRINCE’S TOUR.

WELCOME AT CAPETOWN. CAPETOWN, January 10. The Kenilworth, w'hich was buffeted by a violent south-easter, arrived at daybreak with the Prince of Wales aboard. The Governor, Administrator, and Mayor arrived at 9 o’clock, and gave an informal welcome. The Prince inspected the guard, then drove to the war memorial, at the foot of Adderley Street, after which he drove slowly past the par ade of hundreds of ex-Service men to Government House. There will be no official functions during a week’s stay. The Prince will play golf and squash racquets, and attend the races. On Saturday he will climb Table Mountain. There will be an informal dinner and dance to-morrow. The Prince is looking exceptionally well. He walked the deck vigorously.
