THE COURTS.
STOLE OVERCOAT WHILE DRUNK. By Telegranh—Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 21. Ben Gemmell got a month’s imprisonment to-day for theft of an overcoat from the shop of Kibberd, in Cuba Street. He left a name and address at the shop, and in addition, his own overcoat, which itself contained sufficient papers for identification. He had been drinking and it seemed evident that he had committed the theft while still drunk.
