ARUNDEL.
The annual picnic and distribution of prizes in connection with the Arun- | del School was held at Mr Charles Inglis’s bush, and a very enjoyable time was spent. Mr R. Johnston, chairman of the School Committee, presented the prizes. All the pupils in Standard VI obtained proficiency certificates. The prize list was as follows: Standard Vl.—Jean McDonald, Hazel Pratt, Myrtle Burrows, and Aileen Gould. Standard V.—Alan McDonald, Dan McSweeney, Margaret Charles and Standard IV. —Dorothy Edwards.
