THE YOUNG PLAN.
REVOLT OF NATIONALISTS. (Unltsd Press Associstion—By Blsstrte Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received December 5, 8.45 p.m.) BERLIN. December 4. The revolt of Nationalists against Hagenberg’s anti-Young Plan policy has quickly developed. Twelve have already resigned, and it is expected that the party will lose at least twenty. Dr. Westarp has resigned the leadership of the Reichstag, but explains that this does not mean that he is seceding from the party.
MAY BE NEW PARTY. SCENES IN THE REICHSTAO. (United Prsas Association—By Esctrlf Telsgrsoa—Copyright.) (Received December 6, 12.5 a.m.) BERLIN, December 5. It appears that Brian’s Nationalist Party turned against Hughenberg, and the Secessionists, with the right wingers, and the People's Party may create a new party, constituting a stronger Conservative Opposition than the Nationalists have been able to provide. This will leave the Nationalists, hitherto numbering 78, an unimportant group, made still smaller by the fact of the right wing drifting towards Hitler’s Fascist Party. Herr Kloenne, one of the seceders, declared that Herr Hughenberg’s unstrategic insight, pressed a plebiscite against the opinion of the bourgeoisie, against the president of the Reich, and against reason.
There were violent scenes in the Reichstag when the severings, proposing the first reading of the Bill for the protection of Republic Communists, were called bloodhounds and murderers. Twenty-four deputies were suspended. The Bill was also introduced to make the party proposing the plebiscite pay therefor.
