At Alfred (Ontario), Paul Baptiste Sauve and five of his children, aged 2 to 10 years, were burned to death today, when a fire destroyed their part of a homestead. Mrs Sauve threw an infant into the snow and jumped with the eldest son, breaking both her legs. She may die.
