Commander Byrd celebrated a birthday on October 25, and the Mayor of Wellington radioed greetings on behalf of the city. Mr A. M. Copland, of Timaru. and his twin brother, Mr James Copland, of Ashburton, will celebrate their 90th birthday on November 6th.
