ALBURY.

SPRING FLOWER SHOW. The spring flower show and sale of work in connection with the Presbyterian Church, was held in the Public Hall on Wednesday. The display of flowers was a very good one, the judge (Mr G. Knowles) remarking on the excellence of many of the blooms displayed. The champion bloom was a- Bernardino, grown by Mrs R. W. Irving. Competition in the cooking classes was as keen as usual, the exhibits being of a high order. Mrs Belcher acted as judge for this section. The needlework section contained many useful and beautifully worked articles, the judge (Miss Fussell) having no easy task in awardingprizes. There was a good display of articles made from petrol cases and tins, fencing wire, etc. Mr J. Campbell acted as judge for this section. The show was opened at 2 p.m. by Mr J. McCort.
