LAND POLICY.
QUEENSLAND CABINET’S PROPOSALS. (UnltM Pres;? Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) BRISBANE, June 13. Cabinet in a statement on the land policy says that the Government intends to pass legislation encouraging land settlement .development and production, and to restore the freehold tenure to the land. Where desired special encouragement will be given to experienced land men. A system of land classification will also be provided, with a view to closer settlement to commence forthwith. The dictatorial powers and restrictions imposed by the successive Labour Governments are to be removed.
