State Borrowing In U.S.A. HIGHEST FOR EIGHT YEARS. (United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 7, 7 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 6. That Government borrowing has been seriously affected by the high money conditions was disclosed when the Treasury Department announced that its forthcoming 400,000,000 dollars short term issue would pay 54 per cent., the highest since 1921. The last issue which bore 41 per cent, is now selling in excess of J per cent, discount. 1
