Goddard’s counsel, acting for tho wife, states that tho furniture is Mrs Goddard’s, who has no income and it is impossible to find the money. When the Judge sentenced Goddard he said if the fine was not paid on the completion of the sentence, Goddard would iernain in gaol until it was. LONDON, March 2. “The Times,” in an editorial, says: “Tho desire that Dominion timbers should be more largely used is hardly fair. If architects and builders visit the Australian display at Australia House they will see that they possess merit, not only in appearance but in suitability for British conditions.
