PERSONAL.
Mr C. J. Talbot, chairman of the Mackenzie County Council returned to Timaru on Saturday morning. The Hon. T. K. Sidey AttorneyGeneral, was a passenger by Saturday morning’s express, for Dunedin. Mr D. Jones, M.P. (Ashburton), came to Timaru on Saturday, on the occasion of the Ashburton trades' picnic. Mr W. Thomas, Rector of the Timaru Boys' High School, returned to Timaru from Christchurch, on Saturday morning. Mr W. Harte. the newly-appointed Clerk of the Court at Timaru, will arrive here from Masterton, on Thursday next.
