BRITISH EXPORTS.
British motor-cycle exports for October amounted to £207,949 in value for a total of 3676 complete machines, and various parts and accessories. This figure exceeds the September returns by £25,9 30, and the October, 19 27, amount by £4 7,911. For the ten months ended October 31, 1928, £3,319,575 worth of motor-cycles and accessories were exported, an increase of £67 3,9 69 compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. British riders and machines hold three-quarters of the total number of world’s records established on motorcycles. Of the 7811 motor-bycles which were in use in Hungary at the end of September no fewer than 4568 were in Budapest. Between the end of December, 1927, and the end of June of last year, the number of motor-cycles in Sweden was increased by nearly 10,000. The exact figures are 35,340 and 45,270.
