PETER PAN’S LETTER. Dearest Little People: Just the tiniest of tiny letters today, because 1 want to print as many ol jour letters as i can. Few of your letters last month were longer than 350 words, and I was very pleased with them. Try to remember this new Letter Rule, Circlians of mine, because if your letters are not too long there will be room for ever so many more in Our Page. After this aIL letters that contain more than 350 words will have to bo disqualified. One of the Second Prize letters was written before this new Rule was made, and so, though it is much longer than it should be, it was hot disqualified. 1 am sure you will enjoy reading about “Chippybobbie s holiday, and I know he will not write such a big letter next time. I received numbers of jolly holiday letters, and was so glad to know you had such a splendid time in the country or by the sea. 1 have discovered a fine new Coml>etition to give you next week. It is an Animal Puzzle, so I know you will love doing it. And now I am going to put on my Judging Cap—not my Thinking one —look at all the beautiful painted pictures you have sent me, and discover who are the Best Little Artists. My little Namesake is leaving his Lose Boys, and coming all the way from the Never!and to help me choose the best paintings, so I must not keep him waiting when he arrives. This letter is not so very tiny after all, is it. My little red pen never wants to stop writing to you, because it likes you all so much. But whatever will the Printer Man say if I make ray letter any 'longer to-day! 1 do not know, and I dare not think I 'So I’ll put away my elf-green ink, and close my red pen up in the drawer when I have written just eight words more. Much Love, From Your Very Own PETER PAN. P.S.—My little Namesakerpersuaded me to take my red pen out of the drawer again to tell you that ho sends every Ciycllan a “thimble,” and that one of thft'thistledown “thimbles” I you last M-eek travelled on and on till it reached the Neverland, where it was discovered by the Lost Boys.—P.P.
