VISITS NATIVE SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph—Pres* Association. WANGANUI, March 7. The Governor-General and £ady Alice Fergusson arrived here to-night, from Ta Antfnmnui, via the river. They called at several nativo settlements , where speeehs of welcome were made to His Excellency. In his address to the natives, Sir Charles urged a revival of tho native arts. Their Excellencies to-niglit attended tho Dominion band contest.
