DAMAGES CLAIMED.
AN INVERCARGILL CASE. Bjr Tel egriph—Praia AiioclaOob. INVERCARGILL, Feb. 25. In the Supreme Court this morning, His Honour Mr Justice Macgregor, after hearing legal argument, gave his decision in the action brought against Bray Bros. Ltd., and Eliza McNatty, by Mrs Mary Ann Graham Jopp, foil the rescission of an agreement, or alternately, for £3BO as damages, for fraudulent misrepresentation in connection with the sale of a confectionery business. Judgment was given against the defendants, Bray Bros., for £330 dam\jes, with costs according to scale, disbursements and witnesses expenses to be fixed by the Registrar, along with £l2 12s costs for the second aav of the trial. Judgment was given for defendant, McNatty, with costa, £3l 10s, and disbursements and witnesses expenses, such cost to be paid by the defendants. Bray Bros. Ltd., to the defendant McNatty.
