Lord Inchcape’s Generosity.

In the House of Commons, Mr Winston Churchill informed Major HoreBelisha that he could not give an opportunity of discussing Lord Inchcape’s gift to the nation. Major Hore-Dalislm : “Without detracting from Lord Inclicape’s generosity, Captain Hinchcliffe’s widow says that she had a sort of riroral cla.m against the estate.” The Speaker: “That is not a matter for Mr Churchill.” Major llore-Belislia: “The Stare benefited from the accident. Surely it is within Mr Churchill’s power tr make provision for the widow, or permit the House of Commons to discuss the desirability of doing so.' ■ The Speaker: "Mr Churchill does not control the business of the House.”
